Donald Trump and the intelligence leaks
Donald Trump is one cool character. I like the way he operates. Let’s look at the probable NSA data leak with General Michael Flynn. He allegedly misled Vice President Mike Pence about his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to Washington. But, as Trump said, he has been treated very poorly. I don’t believe he broke the law and, moreover, someone like Flynn, former head of the DIA, is an invaluable asset.
He has close to 40 years of contacts and intelligence analyst ability. You don’t fire someone like that. These people are amazingly trained and connected, and he could have done a superlative job for the American people. To have him let go over one indiscretion is absolutely a shame, as Donald Trump has said.
This entire situation is a failed coup d’état against our President and it’s falling back right onto the perpetrators. These people, needless to say, were not the sharpest pencils in the box. I’m almost 100% certain they weren’t smart enough to use cut-outs or dead drops in their leaks to the reporters. They probably used their mobile phones and email addresses and, if they did, they’re as good as indicted right now by a grand jury.
Trump has unleashed the power of the Department of Justice on these people. The FBI will be interviewing the reporters. This is a felony and it is actually treason. I suspect these people are “Obama leftovers.”
The NSA does an amazing job; these are rogue elements we are dealing with. However, the NSA should not allow unrestricted access to their people of these data transcripts. 60,000 people have access. It wouldn’t be difficult to restrict access. I’m certain the NSA is considering options or else Congress will.
Recommendations have been put forward that the agency needs to put front-end filters on their collection of data and stop recording conversations of Americans, unless a warrant exists. Violations of the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments all, of course, occur when Americans themselves are monitored for no good reason. Let’s look at some of Donald Trump’s comments about this:
The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by “intelligence” like candy. Very un-American! –Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 15, 2017
Thank you to Eli Lake of The Bloomberg View – “The NSA & FBI…should not interfere in our politics…and is” Very serious situation for USA -Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 15, 2017
I’ve said it before: Trump knows everything and he is relentless. He is in the process of taking these people down. This is a year when everything is being disclosed. But the biggest conspiracy and cover-up of all is that of the 2017 arrival of Planet X.
